The idea and need of a charitable trust was born out of the necessity of providing vision to all sections of the rural and urban population who are unable to access any primary eye care. As we know, eyes are meant to appreciate the beauty of the world, experience the joy of learning new activities and undertake new adventures, but there are medically-deprived population, comprised of young school children, who wouldn’t have normal visual & personal development without early diagnosis & treatment.

Nayonika Eye Care Charitable Trust (NECT) is committed to provide comprehensive, affordable/costless and quality eye care services to the neediest and to make India a better nation with complete eye care for all citizens by marching towards achieving various goals discussed and raised by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Our Work So Far
As you are apprised that India is nation with over 1.45 crores Blind and 85% of the blindness would have been Avoidable (Cataract and Refractive errors) and most of these are from rural background or urban slum.
We embarked upon 80/20 model with 80% been in charity and 20% in commercial which drives the eye care model to serve needy at no cost and made difference to over 14 lakhs under privileged with free eye screening.
NECT has succoured Free Eye Screening for over 14 lakhs underprivileged patients free of cost which includes 42000 free cataract surgeries, over 91000 free spectacles and over 10,000 free Diabetic retinopathy screening through our 7 innovative eye health projects covering cataract in rural and urban, school eye health programs and eye health awareness.
